Austrian Airlines announced the opening of flights between Vienna, Austria, to Cancun, Mexico, for next winter.

According to the Austrian airline, the services will be carried out from October 24, 2021, with two weekly flights (Thursday and Sunday).

“People long for vacations. That's why we will focus on attractive long-haul destinations in the upcoming winter flight schedule. I am sure that by then many people will have been vaccinated to make travel easier once again,” said Austrian's commercial director Michael Trestl.

Cancun and Vienna were not connected since 2006; now, the European airline will offer up to 604 weekly seats between both cities.
