VIDANTA BUILDS A 300 ROOM COMPLEX IN LOS CABOS

Vidanta builds a 300 room complex in Los Cabos scheduled to open in 2020

Grupo Vidanta, which for the first time brought four Hakkasan concepts to Mexico in its Los Cabos Resort, will continue its expansion in this destination with a new development that plans to open its doors in 2020 with 300 rooms.

In an interview with Notimex, Alberto Landero, Director of Development Los Cabos, said that the future of tourism in Mexico is promising, "so much so that there are still future projects, like the one we have 20 minutes away from this resort, the next East Cape, which will tentatively open its first Grand Luxxe tower in two years."

Until the new hotel opens, Vidanta Los Cabos will concentrate on consolidating the four concepts that opened their doors to guests and the general public last February and which occupy almost four thousand square meters of extension where 30 million dollars were invested on behalf of the group.

"This is the first time Hakkasan has been associated with a Mexican company to bring exclusive entertainment venues to the country, which from our part reinforces the intention to partner with leading brands to attract world class options and offer a better product to tourists in our developments, "he added.

The new entertainment venues are Omnia Dayclub, the Herringbone restaurant, Shorebar and Casa Calavera; which generated more than 200 new jobs doubling the workforce in the place.

It should be said the expansion of Vidanta not only focuses on the hotel sector. It has already shown interest in participating in the construction of the Mayan Train and investing in the construction of a port in Puerto Vallarta to enter the cruise business.
