The creation of Vallarta Botanical Gardens has provided an unprecedented opportunity for the community to share the wonder of the vast diversity of Mexico’s plant species with the world. They have assembled botanical collections in a safe environment with viewing trails and have already built the most-visited and extensive collection of orchids in Mexico. At Vallarta Botanical Gardens you can also find native plants such as agaves, cacti, and magnolias.

New for 2018, Vallarta Botanical Gardens is offering its own guided tour to this world-famous garden destination and pristine nature reserve! This exclusive experience immerses guests in both the natural beauty of Mexican plants and the richness of authentic Mexican cuisine.

The adventure begins as you enter the paths of the garden, greenhouses and exhibitions to explore and cultivate in the art of botany. Visitors will have free time to walk around the gardens, get glimpses of native animals including colorful parrots and up to a dozen different species of hummingbirds followed by lunch at the award-winning Hacienda de Oro Restaurant. Visitors can also choose to swim in the crystal-clear waters of the mountain river that flows through the forest reserve, take pictures, make their own vanilla extract or relax inside the hacienda on the observation platform.

On the site, awarded the "Reader's Choice of USA TODAY", Vallarta Botanical Gardens was voted the 4th best botanical garden in North America and was recognized as the #1 botanical garden in Mexico.

There’s nothing quite like Vallarta Botanical Gardens, and the new Botanical Delights Tour and Culinary Adventure is the best way to get the most from your experience there.
