At the very tip of Banderas Bay sits one of the most beautiful beaches in Riviera Nayarit. Punta Mita is a small town with luxuriant charm where visitors can relax in style and dine in elegance. Here you can sit at one of the oceanside restaurants, which vary from laid- back eateries to high-end fine dining, while sipping a margarita and enjoying the cool ocean breeze. At Punta Mita surfing is possible, or you can swim in the crystalline waters, or simply take in the beauty that surrounds you. While this isn’t the best of Riviera Nayarit beaches for taking long strolls along the sand, it is one of the most naturally beautiful.

NUEVO VALLARTA BEACH
One of the cleanest beaches in Riviera Nayarit, the beach at Nuevo Vallarta is a must on your Mexico vacation. With endless stretches of soft sand, shallow waters for playing in, and easy access from your Nuevo Vallarta hotel, this is by far one of the best beaches in Riviera Nayarit. Because the beach seems to go on for miles, it isn’t as crowded as other beaches in the region. In addition, due to its location on the shores of Banderas Bay, the waves are much more gentle than at other points in Riviera Nayarit, making it a great place for younger travelers to get their fill of swimming in the ocean. At most points along this beach the water is shallow for a good distance, so you and your loved ones can rest at ease as you all splash around in the water and explore.
