Hilton announced they will add a new Collection by Hilton hotels in Mexico in 2018 – Curio Hotels. The first Curio hotel will open in Guadalajara. Hotel Posada Guadalajara will be under extensive renovation and will join the Curio Collection in 2018.

The Hotel Posada Guadalajara is located in the heart of Guadalajara, Mexico, a world-renowned destination as the capital of Tequila and Mariachi. The property is under renovation and will feature an architecture that mixes colonial touches with modern elements. The lobby with outdoor garden will be the center of the space. The hotel will include special rooms and suites, an executive lounge, a restaurant serving three daily meals, a bar, a gym and a gift shop.

The Hilton will also open a hotel in Cancun and offer the full service of an All-Inclusive hotel that attracts families interested in high end and luxury experience Cancun can offer.

The new hotel complex will be built on 40 hectares and located just 10 minutes away from the city’s international airport.
Just this year Hilton opened seven hotels with a total of 946 rooms in Mexico under the brands Hampton Inn, Hilton Garden and Conrad.
The long-term goal, is to bring Hilton’s luxury hotel brands to destinations other than resort towns, focusing on different tourism and business destinations such as Mexico City.
