MAY 7, 2020

At long last there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel and total lockdown is being eased in many places. However we are still a long way from some kind of normality being established and it remains to be seen what happens next.

Though the travel industry may still be one of the longer-term victims of this pandemic, given that so much depends on the return of air travel, we cannot just sit back and wait for something to happen and here at Destination Mexico we have been hard at work and taking advantage of the time to look into new ideas, places, venues etc to enhance our programmes. Over the next few weeks and months we hope to be exciting you, our clients and friends, with what we have been able to discover, just as much as we are excited to showcase our findings. Keep a lookout for future information concerning this!

But first things first and we realise everything depends on the level of safety our clients will need and indeed demand, when travel to Mexico does become a possibility again. Therefore Destination Mexico has been working alongside our suppliers of service to come up with a protocol which we think will cover all these demands. We now have a comprehensive document covering all aspects of client safety during these uncertain times, but are not ‘resting on our laurels’ and continuing to revise and upgrade whenever new information comes in. We are completely open to suggestions where this is concerned and if any of you, our clients, feel you have something to contribute which would make this document even more ‘watertight’, then suggestions of this nature would be more than welcome.

If you would like to take a look at our ‘Emergency Preparedness’ document, please request it from and we will be pleased to send it along.

To all of you, continue to take care and stay safe!
