Readers of Selecciones Reader's Digest Mexico magazine chose Cancun as the
most trusted brand in the "Beach Destination" category. The more than 400
thousand readers evaluated the effort, dedication and quality of the destination to
generate and maintain trust in consumers.
Cancun is recognized as the most trusted "Beach Destination" in Mexico.
With more than 37 thousand hotel rooms and a unique infrastructure, shopping
centers, renowned restaurants, entertainment, archaeological sites, warm service
and friendly people, natural beauties and unbeatable beaches, Cancun, which
recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, continues being the favorite destination of
national and international tourists. In addition, and thanks to its extensive air
connectivity, it is the gateway to the tourist destinations of the Mexican Caribbean.
In the 11th edition of the “Trusted Brands” event, which was held virtually from
Mexico City, Selecciones Reader's Digest magazine - which recently celebrated its
80th anniversary, recognized various brands of products and services, as well as
destinations, tourists and personalities who, according to a survey conducted using
a strict methodology throughout Mexico, are the most reliable for Mexicans.
In this edition, 46 categories were considered: 40 for products, services, and
destinations, as well as 6 personalities from the world of entertainment and
communication; in addition, various aspects such as quality, image, innovation and
price were evaluated.
In Cancun and all the tourist destinations of the Mexican Caribbean, strict
prevention and hygiene measures continue to be implemented. In addition,
Quintana Roo has the Safe Travels seal, granted by the World Travel and Tourism
Council (WTTC), and the Certification in Health Protection and Prevention,
developed by the State Tourism Secretariat, as well as a State Epidemiological
Traffic Light, currently located in yellow.
